Turtle Beach Resort
Turtle Beach Resort offers freestanding cottages rather than traditional guestrooms. Originally a fishing camp, the cottages sit at the end of Siesta Key, along the waterfront of Little Sarasota Bay just a short walk from secluded Turtle Beach on the Gulf of Mexico. Each cottage has its own private hot tub, and several have grills on gated patios. Guests also have use of docking facilities, kayaks, canoes, fishing equipment and bicycles. Pets are welcome.

Water Sports
A few minutes south, via one of our canoes or kayaks, you will find sand dunes, sea grass and the most beautiful beach with few people if any. Are we still in Florida or are we in the "Caribbean"? Yes, Florida, an island between Siesta Key and Casey Key on a strip of land that can only be reached by a boat or canoe. You might be lucky enough to swim with the dolphins, the birds, the sunshine, the manatees, and sometimes even sea turtles, await you.
Fishing
Turtle Beach Resort was a fishing camp 40 years ago: Snook, Red Fish, Sea Trout,
Sheep's Head, even small Tarpon, are caught on our private docks. A lounge chair and drink in hand, a live shrimp and a fishing rod on your private dock, now that's the way to fish!
Pet Islands
At our dog friendly resort your "best friend" can enjoy paradise with you. The resort is also located just north of a dog friendly beach on the Gulf of Mexico.
Boating & Kayaking
there are complementary canoes, kayaks, paddle boat, rowboat, fishing poles, bicycles. Snap on your lifejacket and paddle away.
The Pool
Overlooking the bay, our heated pool, 27' by 14', invites the guests to relax. Gazebos with fans will cool you and shade you from the summer sun.

Boat Docking & Boat Ramps
Being on Little Sarasota Bay with the Inter-coastal Waterway nearby, boating is a natural. If you bring your own boat, there is a boat ramp at Turtle Beach. A couple of minutes away from that you can dock your boat at Turtle Beach Resort. A couple of minutes from Turtle Beach Resort you are in the
Inter-coastal Waterway. Approximately seven miles south near Venice, the pass to the Gulf of Mexico appears. Seven miles to the north is the City of Sarasota and another big pass to the Gulf.
