Atop a high hill surrounded by gardens and shrubs, this great colonial-style house, built around the turn of the 20th century and renovated in 2005, has terrific views of downtown Hamilton and, in the distance, the sparkling harbor. Hamilton is a 10-minute walk away, and the south-shore beaches are less than 15 minutes away by motor scooter or bus.

Edgehill Manor doesn’t serve dinner, which is unsurprising given the range of excellent restaurants nearby. The Harbourfront, Little Venice, L’Oriental, Ristorante Primavera, The Lobster Pot, Portofino Restaurant, Robin Hood, Monty's and many more are all just minutes away.
