Maroma is a showcase for the beautiful and unique arts & crafts produced in each region of Mexico; two of the best examples are the exquisite pottery mermaid and the whimsical tin soldier watching over the dining room. The hand-painted tile used in the bathrooms, the bedside lamps in each room, the hand-loomed natural cotton bedspreads, decorative pillows and throws and soft wool rugs are all fine examples of Mexican artistry. The rooms and public areas feature original art by Mexican and International artists (a catalog is available), and each room also has its own special objects and placed with love.

Marlin, Sailfish, Tuna, Dorado, Wahoo and Barracuda abound in these extremely deep and rich waters. Closer to shore the informal angler can have the thrill of catching a variety of excellent eating fish.

• Sailing - If above-water activity is of more interest, there are Hobie-cats, kayaks, windsurfing and kite boarding. Or go for a cruise at sunset on the lovely 27-foot Maroma catamaran, where sea turtles, dolphins and rainbows may provide amazing entertainment. 
  All deep-sea fishing yacht's are fully equipped and professionally crewed, 31-ft. sport fishers that accommodate up to 8 people. Bait, equipment, beer and soft drinks available.

• Maroma Fishing -We can take you fishing for your dinner like the locals do it. Troll for Barracuda, Grouper, Snapper and Snook in and around Maroma Bay and impress your friends when you disembark with your prize catch. Ask for bone fishing too.

Maroma’s fine dining Restaurant offers dramatic, ocean views with Innovative Mexican Cuisine. Guest enjoys delicacies of fresh seafood and regional Yucatan dishes. Meals artfully presented and served on an open-air terrace overlooking the ocean. 

Dining features gourmet cuisine by candlelight, soft background music performed by live musicians. Special dietary request accommodated with pleasure. The wine cellar boasts a large choice of the finest wine in the world.
