Skiing:
Skiing and Snowboarding
You'll be deeply moved by the vastness of Keystone's terrain. You can't see much of the mountain from the front side, but three huge mountains await you.
Almost a third of Keystone's beginner terrain is located on Keystone Mountain, easily accessed on the front side, along with expanded terrain parks and pipes. On the backside of Keystone Mountain, discover 70 acres of steep tree skiing and snowboarding in The Windows.
More than half of North Peak is rated more difficult to advanced, with plenty of bumps and steeps. The Alpenglow Stube and Timber Ridge Food Court at the Outpost are perched at 11,444 feet.
The Outback, Keystone's third mountain, offers skiers and snowboarders more than 800 acres of gladed terrain and bowls for intermediate to expert skiers only. The Outback is located about six miles away from the base areas, giving skiers and riders views of other mountains, trees and powder. A short hike from the Outback Express lift provides skiers and snowboarders with steep, wide-open bowls in South Bowl and steep chutes and powder stashes in North Bowl.
Night Skiing
Night skiing is available until 8:00pm and is included with your normal Keystone lift ticket. Special rates are also available for late arrivals. At night, 17 trails are open, including a lighted halfpipe and terrain park, making Keystone the best night-skiing mountain in Colorado.
