66 spacious thatched traditional Fijian style bures (bungalows). Oceanview & Island setting.

All bures feature one queen size ensemble and two single beds, comfortably sleeping four persons. Traditional Fijian design offers roofs and ceiling mounted fans. Sleeping and living quarters are separate with the emphasis  on privacy and comfort. A well stocked drinks refrigerator is provided Each bure has a separate large bathroom including  shower, toilet and vanity area complete with hairdryer and toiletries. Castaway has an abundance of fresh clean water.

• For those that have never scuba dived before, complimentary pool sessions and introduction courses are offered, a great way to discover the underwater world. 

• Castaway Kids Club and Crèche: providing a complimentary service for all children 3 years of age and over from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a separate, supervised children's dinner hour from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm.

• Island Safaris: Travel in style on Fiji's fastest speedboat the 'Erin' on a champagne cruise to four of our Mamanuca Islands, with a delicious champagne picnic lunch on Honeymoon Island.

• Parasailing: Try the exhilaration of parasailing over the sparkling waters surrounding the island. 

• Jet Skiing: Jump on a jet ski and experience the rush of 30 mph on water! 

• Scuba Diving : Castaway Diving is an internationally acclaimed PADI resort member and has the distinction of being the very first resort in Fiji to be recognized and appointed PADI's International Gold Palm 5 Star Resort status, the highest recognition PADI awards to resorts. There is something for everyone no matter what level of experience you have. For the qualified divers amongst you, we have shark feeds, moray eel encounters and exploratory dive trips as well as a whole range of gadgets to try out!! 

• Snorkeling Trips We organize daily inner and outer reef snorkeling adventures. Experience fantastic underwater sites only minutes from the Resort.

  Transfers:

• The island is serviced by a new 88ft luxury cruising Catamaran, the "Tiger IV". Check-in time is 30 minutes prior to departure. (Cruising time is 1 hour and 15 minutes) This air-conditioned catamaran departs Denarau Marine and Castaway Island three times daily: 
  Fares:  $33.00 one way; $55.00 roundtrip. Children 2-16 years, 50% discount applies. 

• Turtle Airways 
  A float plane, departing from Nadi Bay on demand. Flight time to Castaway is approximately 10 minutes. 
  Fares:  $70.00 per person one way. Single supplement applies. Children 16 years and under 50% discount applies. 

• Island Hoppers 
  Helicopter services depart from Nadi International Airport or Denarau Island as required. 
  Fares:  $126.00 one way. 

• Charter Boat 
  A 40 minute speedboat from Nadi to Castaway by the "Erin" - maximum 4 people plus luggage. 
  Charter Rate:  $275.00 one way. 

RESTAURANT & BAR 

The day starts with a Castaway buffet breakfast including Fiji's tropical fruits and juices, cereals, a selection of hot dishes and accompaniments including bacon, sausages, eggs any style, fresh baked croissants, hot cakes and Danish pastries, tea selection and fresh brewed coffee. 

The all day casual dining menu features light snacks and meals throughout the day to early evening.

At night you can dine alfresco under a canopy of Castaway stars overlooking the clear waters. The a la carte menu features the freshest Fijian seafood and crustaceans with grain fed beef, poultry and local Fijian creations as selections, together with fresh vegetables, crisp salads and crusty home baked breads - complimented by a hand selected wine list. 

Alternatively our gourmet wood fired pizzas available in the Sundowner Bar are not to be missed. 

Magnificent starlit dining by the water's edge is enhanced by the music and songs of the "Castaway Islanders" with their acoustic guitars and island style bass. 

The alfresco dining was recently deemed "excellent" by Conde Nast Traveler.
