Relais Mahana
Located in the heart of Avea bay, on the south of HUAHINE Island, between Tahiti and
Bora-Bora. The breathtaking scenery is paradise.. In a tropical garden, the 22 Polynesian style bungalows offer you calmness and comfort, on the edge of a beautiful white sand beach.
The bar and restaurant happily combine French and Polynesian cooking while you entertained with local animations and special evenings.
Lots of activities, land based and nautical, are proposed in order to make your stay pleasant and lead you to discover the island.
On the site, Annie from the MAHANA-DIVE will show you the underwater flora and fauna.
We also propose welcoming service to sailing boats, anchoring in one of the most beautiful site in French Polynesia, where there are many manta rays.
You can buy souvenirs from our shop, some are of local arts and crafts.

ACCOMMODATION
The hotel, entirely on the edge of the lagoon, is structured in 3 parts.
In the center, the reception desk, the swimming-pool, the bar and restaurant.
On both sides, the 22 Polynesian style bungalows are merged in a tropical garden, reflecting the preserved environment of the Relais
Mahana.
Wether you choose a bungalow on the beach or in the garden, the distant noise of the coral reef will cradle your nights of exotic dreams.

For the gourmets, our chef, Michel Prat, his second, Sébastien Matton, and their team composed of tahitian cooks, are proposing a tasty French cuisine with a delicate local touch.

ACTIVITIES
So that you can enjoy the lagoon, pedal boats, canoes, snorkeling equipment are at your disposal.
You can also visit the island with beachcruiser bikes, some of them are equiped for the babies, the older children having their own bikes.
On the hotel site, you will enjoy the tenniscourt, the swimming-pool, the pétanque bowls, ping-pong table, books, parlor games and videos.

They are numerous and various.
At the hotel, the dive center, MAHANA-DIVE, will make you visit the diving spots of the south and north of the island, or you will participate to an aqua safari close to the coral reef.
