This luxurious 560 room resort recently completed a $25 million renovation and expansion where guests will experience the best the Caribbean has to offer. Guests have a choice of accommodations including resort rooms and suites. There are two towers, the Marina Tower and the Beach Tower, and the lobby area features Aruba's only water, sound and light show, "Waterscape's," a must-see on island.


The Marina Tower features a choice of two queen size beds or one king size bed, full bathroom, and a step out balcony. There is a choice of views from Resort, Island and Ocean. All rooms include mini-bars, direct dial telephones, 24-hour room service, and in-room safes. 

The Beach Tower features one bedroom suites with a king bed, a living room with a queen sofa bed, a dining area, a large bathroom, a fully equipped wet bar, and a balcony or patio. All rooms include direct dial telephones, 24-hour room service, and in-room safes. 

Renaissance Island provides a unique combination of watersports for guests to enjoy. In addition to swimming, snorkeling and diving, there is tranquil kayaking, water bikes, paddle boats and waverunners. There are also floats and a catamaran ride that's fun for everyone can be arranged. The watersports program on Renaissance Island is managed by Red Sail Sports. Fishing, sailing and underwater adventures are also available at the resort's full-service marina.


Renaissance Island provides the best dive experience, not only in Aruba but perhaps the entire Caribbean. As a matter of fact, Skin Diver Magazine named Aruba " The wreck-diving capital of the Caribbean." And, we have our own wreck right off the shore of Renaissance Island. Our dive operation is managed by Red Sail Sports.

"Straight out from the Renaissance Aruba Beach Resort & Casino's private island, lies a wreck of a different sort – the Renaissance Airplane, a fully intact fuselage of a Convair 400. Confiscated by Aruba's law enforcement during a drug smuggling takedown several years back, this twin-prop aircraft (similar to a DC-3) sits upright and remarkably intact on the bottom at a depth of 45 feet. Surrounded by an array of corals and colorful sponges, the plane's airframe is a provocative sight, especially since visibility on this side of the island averages between 60 and 100 feet."

Umbrellas 
This open-air café is located in the Atrium of the Marina Tower and enjoys interesting views of Waterscapes, Aruba's only water, light and sound show. Here, you can enjoy a special tropical drink, a choice of exotic coffees, and freshly baked pastries. Open daily. 

Villa Germania 
Experience European cuisine with a German touch. This indoor and outdoor restaurant is a local favorite and a must for visitors to Aruba. The restaurant offers full bar service, breathtaking views of sunsets, and is a must for people who thrive on an active and entertaining atmosphere. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Restaurants and Bars

Café Brasserie 
This casual and tropical restaurant is located in the lobby level of the Marina Tower and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant features a daily buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as a la carte dining. This is a great spot for guests who enjoy a full meal with lots of variety.

Captain's Terrace 
This casual indoor and outdoor restaurant is located in the Beach Tower and overlooks the Tropical Oasis Pool and lush landscaping. The restaurant is open for breakfast. 

Don Carlos Restaurant 
Located at the marina with a beautiful view of the fishing boats and the ocean, this open air Italian restaurant serves freshly prepared seafood dishes from the fish brought in daily by local fishermen. Everything is made to order. Open daily for lunch and dinner.

Grand Cafe Tropical
As you would expect, there is tropical ambiance, great music and a happy crowd that make every night terrific. Live entertainment is presented every Friday and Saturday, closed on Mondays.

La Estancia
Located at the Seaport Marketplace, is a cozy restaurant with the name La Estancia. This restaurant serves famous steaks from Argentina. Open daily for lunch and dinner. 

La Terraza Cafe Bistro
This bistro offers European cuisine prepared by award-winning Chef Gerald Himmelreich who has cooked for royalty before joining us in Aruba. Be sure to enjoy the Catch of the Day Meuniere, but whatever you order it will be out of this world. Breakfast and lunch are served daily, and dinner is served every day except Sunday.

L'Escale Restaurant
A visit to Aruba is not complete without dining at L'Escale Restaurant, that was rated as the # 1 restaurant on island. Sbarro
Enjoy a bountiful buffet of savory Italian specialties prepared fresh daily. Everything from lasagna and baked ziti to Sbarro's freshly made New York-style hand stretched pizza and Strombolis baked in their own brick oven. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Scandals Restaurant 
Regardless of age, if you're trendy or hip, or think you are, this is the place for you, especially after midnight when things heat up. The staff as well as the menu are scandalous. Open for lunch and dinner daily, except Sunday when it's dinner only.

Seabreeze
Seabreeze Restaurant on Renaissance Island is a special place to enjoy cocktails, a snack and lunch. Here you will sit in our shaded open air restaurant overlooking the beautiful beach and spectacular aqua clear waters of the Caribbean Sea. You will find the menu to be delightful. You won't want to miss one of our exotic specialty drinks. The restaurant also provides personal beach-side service for your convenience.

Sushi-Ya 
This is Aruba's favorite sushi and sashimi bar where, in traditional Japanese style, the dishes are as beautiful as they are tasty. Warm sake and cold beer await you too. Open for lunch and dinner daily, except Sunday when it's dinner only.

The Waterfront Crabhouse
This wonderful seafood restaurant is located steps away from both the Marina and Beach Towers. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and specializes in fresh seafood, crab, lobster and aged meats. All foods are prepared fresh daily. The music is romantic and the dishes are made with love. Open every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Crystal Casino at Renaissance Aruba Beach Resort & Casino
