Paraiso de La Bonita

Paraiso de la Bonita, meaning "the beautiful woman's paradise" is located  between Cancun and Playa del Carmen, on the Mexican Caribbean. This intimate beach resort and thalassotherapy spa, nestled on the secluded sugar white beaches along Petenpich Bay in a 14 acre oasis carved from the tropical Selva, combines the elegance of traditional Mexican architecture with the great Mayan culture that is hallmark to the Yucatan Peninsula.

Each of the 90 suites  is individually decorated in an eclectic and elegant style, blending traditional Mexican design elements and materials with unique antiques and accessories collected from around the world 
Thirty-six of the suites are on the garden level and enjoy a small plunge pool 
Upper suites have a terrace complimented with either a sun lounger or a hammock, and offer great views of the sparkling Caribbean 
All suites are air-conditioned and feature a fully stocked bar, dual telephone lines with Internet access, and TVs with DVD players .

For guests preferring to dine in the comfort of their suite or under the stars, private dining is available 24 hours a day.

Paraiso de la Bonita's main house, with soaring thatched roof, thick plastered walls and hand-hewn timber beams, overlooks the resort's swimming pool and the Caribbean. 
The outdoor swimming pool and terrace are at the center of the Resort.                                      The property has also a tennis court.

The open-air thatched Pool Bar serves drinks throughout the day until 6 pm.

 La Canoa elegant dining room open in the evenings for dinner at 6. Specializes in creative fish and seafood cuisine prepared by chefs from the open tiled kitchen.
The Restaurant features Mexican and International cuisine. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 7a to 11p. Features an outdoor grill.

Just beyond reception is the refreshing indoor Library Bar, where guests can also enjoy drinks and the resort's extensive collection of books on Mexican architecture, culture and history. The library also stocks novels, games and a selection of CDs and DVDs for enjoyment in the suites.

The 2,000 square-meter (22,000 square foot) Spa at Paraiso de la Bonita sets a new standard in treatments for mind and body. The spa is the first in Mexico to feature Thalassotherapy - an ancient technique, rediscovered by modern experts, using freshly heated seawater and marine algae inducing an exchange of minerals and vitamins for the rejuvenation of, and curative benefits to, the body. 

The elegant center offers an extensive series of medically supervised treatments and beauty services, with facilities that include a Mayan-style sea water jacuzzi, steam and dry saunas, high pressure  jet showers, gym, yoga and tai chi instruction, beauty salon, and the latest in massage techniques from our experienced masseurs.
