Grand Opening June 20th, 2002. Designed by renowned architects known for Iberostar and Paradisus hotels, this beautiful Resort was integrated with nature, literally carved through tropical foliage fronting  Kantenah Beach, with over 1/2 mile of beach available to the hotel guests, only 7 minutes from Akumal.  As the newest of the Ibiza - Spanish hotel group with 40 Resorts, the accent is on space and openness, non crowding and horizontal flow.

836 Junior suites and  rooms all with patio or balcony. 

Amenities include: Coffee maker, TV, small refrigerator stocked three times a week, king or two queen beds, bathroom with shower, safety deposit box.

276 Junior suites  have a sofa bed. Children under 12 stay free in Junior suites.

Family Friendly Jr. suites that can sleep six.

Mayan suites (couples only) are located in the blocks closest to the beach.

Amenities include: air-conditioning, ceiling fan, king or two queen beds, vanity,  coffee maker, a mini refrigerator stocked daily with beer, soft drinks, and water, TV,  bathroom with full bath , toilet and bidet. 

Outside patio with a Mayan shower featuring a Mayan arch. This shower is closed in for privacy and very romantic.

Sports & Activities:                                     4 pools - lake pool (lagoon-size), adult  pool (topless allowed at the adult pool), children's pool and a quiet pool at the Spa. 

The lake pool is spectacular and has raised Grecian columns with jet streams where guests can sit and cool off. The pool also features a long row of lounge chairs on a ledge in the pool for sunbathing. .
